With work, school and busy schedules it can be hard to carve out time to cook homemade meals. Let Chef Rachael take the hassle out of meal planning, shopping and clean-up. Join us for a make-ahead meal cooking session and rest easy knowing that your family will have some delicious healthy meals in the fridge to start the week off right.
Don an apron and jump in the kitchen to help whip up several meals and even make a friend or two. We will divide into groups and each team will tackle 1-2 recipes. On the menu:
Oatmeal Breakfast Cake
Hearty Quinoa Salad with Spiced Chickpeas
Air-Fried Sesame Ginger Chicken
Stir-Fried Asian Green Beans
Coconut Curry with Sticky Rice
Cauli-Brocco-Chicken-Cheese Bake
Rice Krispie Bars with Potato Chips
Wine, fruit and cheese will be served at the start of class. Portions will feed a family of 4 at a minimum. You will leave with one breakfast, one dessert and several dishes that can be combined for lunch or dinner this week and two that can be eaten or frozen for next.
While this class is a participatory class, as time permits Chef Rachael will share some time savings tips and demo preparation techniques. She will also suggest proteins that will compliment the vegan/vegetarian options.
We will try to accommodate any substitutions, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly. Rachael's kitchen is 100% gluten free and she has a lot of practice with dairy and meat substitutions. Please no children, as this is an adult only event.
